Wil is a professional music instructor with 5+ years of teaching experience! He teaches all age levels, with students as young as 5 and old as 70, and creates lesson plans for and workshop goals with each individual student depending on their needs.
Wil has an impressive track record with his students, having children as young as 6 write their own songs and perform them on stage, and having students of all ages learn and perform their favorite songs!

- Drum set. Everything from Jazz, Rock, Funk, and D&B, to Latin, Caribbean, and Brazilian styles such as Soca, Calypso, Steel Orchestra, Mambo, Samba, and more!
- Hand and Auxiliary Percussion. Specializing in Ghanaian, Ugandan, and Latin hand drumming and auxiliary percussion styles, as well as Hindustani Tabla!
- Also has experience teaching improvised multi-percussion for everything from free jazz to acoustic jam sessions!
- Percussion and Music Fundamentals. Have a child interested in trying out music lessons, or preparing for a school band audition? Are you interested in learning but have no music experience? No worries, Wil teaches students of all age ranges and experience levels, and tailors lessons to fit the student's individual goals!

Latin/Caribbean Percussion

Latin Percussion is an incredibly diverse and deep musical world, with each instrument involved having its own complex history, patterns, and playing styles, but all harmonize together to form a singular, unique and unified sound. Caribbean Percussion is its own separate world, but functions in a similar way, creating an "engine room" that drives the band forward. Many times, Latin Percussion, Caribbean Percussion, and their playing styles are mistaught or underrepresented, especially in school and collegiate instances. With over 6 years experience playing in Latin Jazz combos, Big Bands, and Steel Bands, Wil can teach you how to play, learn, and listen to these styles!
